Floor lamp made of steel and aluminium. Movement is the source of inspiration for Bernard Schottlander's entire body of work. As an artist, engineer and tinkerer, he developed a sophisticated system of pivot point and counterweight, while also using flexible and resilient metal rods. Inspired by the work of Alexander Calder, his lamps play with the tension between balance and imbalance. Like mobiles, they seem to defy the laws of gravity. The poetry of the object invites you to dream: elegance hanging by a silken thread.
